illustration

My first assignment as an illustrator was to do a map for the magazine Travel + Leisure. T + L is a great place to start because it’s known by many art directors for having good illustration. Maps are especially fun since they’re basically a lot of little drawings combined into one big drawing. Recently, I’ve been commissioned to do some murals, and have also been enjoying drawing portraits. Super challenging, but when I nail an expression, it’s really satisfying.
